Personal Rewilding: A Journey Back to Nature

Why do people seek out Personal Rewilding?

In today's fast-paced, globally industrialized society, many people have begun to feel disconnected from the world and struggle to find a sense of purpose.  This has led to an incredible rise in cases of depression and Nature Deficit Disorder (NDD), as well as a general worsening in mental and physical health. New research - science - tells us that the answers are to be found in Nature; the keys to our mental and physical health lie in our relationship with Nature.

Personal Rewilding is the practice of rediscovering, acknowledging, and honoring the innate relationship humankind has with the natural world.

How do we rewild?

Personal Rewilding utilizes assorted skills, tools and techniques to deepen our connection with Nature. These may include Elemental Meditation, Nature Immersion, Reflective Writing, and Integration Strategies, and more.

What is Personal Rewilding?

Personal Rewilding  is  the dedicated, personal practice  of  rekindling your relationship with  the natural world. It requires a deeply personal, focus on mindfulness, which is supported by the four founding principles - or pillars - of Personal Rewilding:

  • Rediscovering Our Wild Being - acknowledging, accepting and honoring your innate bond with Nature;
  • Realigning with the Wild Rhythms - attuning ourselves to the cycles and Rhythms of Nature's biological clock;
  • Honoring Our Wild Ancestors - revisiting our history, both as a species and within our families, and their relationship with the natural world, which helped to shape our own;
  • Taking Wild Action - acknowledging, accepting and honoring our role as stewards of Nature.
